The WWE Grand Slam winner took to Instagram to share a series of stories about her friend who passed away in 2006. Bayley introduced her as Meggie, one of her best friends in high school, and said the latter died at the young age of 17. “It changed my life forever,” the 33-year-old wrote.

She also informed that every year on Meggie’s birthday, the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion releases a balloon into the sky as part of a tribute, no matter where she’s at. “Just sharing cause I love her!!”

Bayley wrote, further adding, “She wanted to be famous so I’m still trying to help her out.”

Bayley, who is currently working in WWE as part of the Damage CTRL stable, had shared in 2016 that Meggie had taught her about genuine friendship without realizing she had done it.

She said the world missed out on knowing Meggie Le and, despite being a private person, she wanted to let people know about her friend. “And know that her smile, and her friendship had the biggest impact on who I am today. Now the world knows you Meggie….just like it should’ve been. I love you and miss you. “Remember me always”,” Bayley wrote in 2016. Seven years later, she still makes sure the world knows about her friend.

On the other hand, Bayley’s fans won’t be happy after the 33-year-old received unfavorable news that could hamper her chances of winning the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Bayley to have a new tag team partner for Women’s Tag Team Championships

The Damage Ctrl has been in a slump of late, with visible tensions between the teammates. Things dipped further as it was reported that Dakota Kai, one of the three members of the stable, sustained an injury during a match on RAW. In the same match, Liv Morgan also suffered a health scare, forcing her and Rachel Rodriguez to vacate their Tag Team Championships.

Meanwhile, Kai’s injury has dealt a blow to Bayley, as she was her regular tag team partner. In her absence, the 33-year-old will pair up with Iyo Sky and take on the three other teams- Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey, Chelsea Green, and Sonya Deville, and Rodriguez and a partner of her choice- for the Women’s Tag Team Championships match, which will take place on the episode of RAW after WWE Night of Champions on May 27.

It remains to be seen how the new tag team performs as hunting in pairs requires a lot of trust among peers.
