In a recent interview, Evans revealed that he was presented with two difficult choices last year. He could either work on a space-themed movie or work alongside Johnson in his Christmas movie. Since Evans loves space so much, it was a difficult choice for him. However, the scarcity of Christmas-themed movies in recent times made him opt for Red One instead of the other project.
