The wrestling world saw Sasha banks and Naomi walk away from the Live Monday Night RAW episode. The Women’s Tag Team Champions were part of a six-pack challenge match that night in the main event to determine the number one contender for Raw Women’s Title at Hell in a Cell against Bianca Belair.

The match included Becky Lynch, Asuka, Nikki A.S.H., and Doudrop apart from Banks and Naomi. The match was later turned into a singles match between Becky Lynch and Asuka with the same stipulation.

It seems WWE has taken serious actions against Sasha Banks and Naomi. The company officials aren’t happy with the action of the former Women’s Tag Team Champions. The company is trying to erase all the data of Banks and Naomi from the WWE archives.

However, in erasing all the archives of both superstars, WWE has replaced Sasha Banks with Cody Rhodes in the WWE signature video. The fans noticed before the SmackDown episode this. One of the fans posted the video in slow motion on his Twitter.

The tweet said, “Then… Now… Sasha Banks replaced by Cody Rhodes on signature intro from #SmackDown.”

This replacement didn’t sit well with the fans of The Boss. There is a huge fan following for Sasha Banks and they have supported her in every decision she has made.

Why did Banks and Naomi leave in the middle of the show?

Sasha Banks and Naomi won the Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 38 defeating Carmella and Queen Zelina, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, and Natalya and Shayna Baszler. They wanted to make the women’s tag team division one of the best in the company.

The WWE creatives department frustrated Sasha Banks and Naomi over the booking of their tag team championship matches. Banks and Naomi had defended the titles in minimal times on TV and wanted to be in more matches. The poor booking of their championship reign made both the women walk away from RAW.

Before leaving the arena, Banks and Naomi handed over the titles to John Laurinaitis. Therefore, making the Women Tag Titles vacant again. WWE has been publicly open regarding the status of both women in the company.
