How? This is how
On Raw, Lashley and Orton kicked off the show where both of them agreed to have a match at Extreme Rules, where Lashley will put the WWE Championship on the line. Therefore, Randy Orton has the chance to revive his former glory as WWE Champion by defeating Lashley. He becomes a double champion if at the end of Extreme Rules he’s still the WWE Raw Tag Team Champion as well.

On the other hand, MVP and Bobby Lashley won the tag team turmoil on Raw. This made them the number one contender for the WWE Raw tag team titles. So now, Bobby Lashley has the chance to become the new Raw Tag Team Champion if he and MVP can defeat the current champions, Randy Orton and Matt Riddle. Lashley becomes a double champion if he’s still WWE Champion at the end of the Raw Tag Team Championship match.

Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley could retain their current titles
The only reason Orton agreed to Lashley and MVP becoming last minute entrants to the Tag Team turmoil match is because Lashley agreed to put the WWE Championship on the line at Extreme Rules. However, The Viper and The Almighty have been excellent as the champions they currently are.

If Orton were to defeat Lashley, most of his storylines would revolve around the WWE Championship. Superstars like Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, and others would try to challenge him for the same. As a result, the controversial yet perfect tag team, RK-Bro, will take a backseat.

Currently, the tag team is a fan favourite. It wouldn’t make sense to make Orton champion and take focus away from RK-Bro.
On the other hand, The Almighty is a mighty good champion. His matches with number one contenders at various PPVs have been extremely entertaining. Moreover, his fans could feel Lashley’s first reign as champion was cut short if Randy Orton became double champion.
