“I Just Loved It” – The Undertaker Reveals the Best Attribute of Kobe Bryant While Remembering the Late Basketball Legend

For most WWE legends, a crossover is familiar territory, whether it’s switching promotions or indulging with cross-sport athletes, and celebrities. However, The Undertaker’s recent take on The Black Mamba is not one he formed after crossing paths with the legend. The Hall of Famer had a few words for the late NBA icon, Kobe Bryant, even though the two never met.

The basketball legend was indeed a persona that did not leave minds quickly. Bryant left a lasting impression on most people he met, celebrity or otherwise. However, even though Taker accepts that he never met the Lakers’ heart and soul, he still found a reason to admire Bryant’s personality.

The Undertaker loves this about Kobe Bryant

In a recent podcast with Adrian Hernandez, the Phenom voiced out his thoughts on Bryant. When the interviewer asked the 58-year-old whether he had any interactions with Bryant, the former wrestler was quick to deny it. However, he didn’t wait around to tell Hernandez that he “always loved his mindset”.

The primary belief behind Taker’s admiration was the fact that the Lakers legend preached about never being satisfied with one’s condition. “And he was never satisfied with anything that he did and I just loved it,” added The Phenom.

He coincidentally found his shared values to be deeply inculcated inside the small forward. 

The Undertaker admires a certain quality

In the wholesome conversation, Taker took his time to appreciate the basketball legend without holding back. After mentioning that Bryant is the embodiment of a professional athlete, he shared how this is a quality that he also appreciates in people.

“People that won’t accept defeat and when you do get a setback, to grow from it and come back stronger and I always felt that about him,” added Calaway, continuing talking about the late star and his influence. It is evident that he is mesmerized by the way that Bryant handled his professional life.
