On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Bayley became the #1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Who did she beat? Did Sasha Banks even bother showing up? Well, no one and no sign of Banks at all. Bayley will challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Title purely because of the internet.

Fans voiced their displeasure over Bayley not being a part of WrestleMania 37. Instead of featuring in a prominent role, Bayley played the role of a flea annoying a dog as she buzzed around hosts, Titus O’Neil and Hulk Hogan.

On WrestleMania Sunday, the former hugger had an altercation with new Hall of Fame inductees, the Bella Twins. She lost it at the twins, claiming their outfits reminded her of Elmo and roasted Nikki by telling her, John Cena isn’t here.”

The Bellas attacked her and tossed her down the stage to massive boos from the WWE Universe. WWE must’ve noticed the reaction to the segment and decided Bayley is too valuable to be treated this way. Two weeks after that, she is the #1 contender for Bianca Belair‘s SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre will clash in a WrestleMania rematch at the event. The All Mighty and the Scottish Warrior’s rivalry is only at stage two and an effective conclusion is required.

Roman Reigns dominated at WrestleMania 37, but his next challenger might be unbeatable. Even though he faces Daniel Bryan next week, Cesaro is the front-runner to challenge Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania Backlash.

After her suspension ends, Charlotte Flair will return to Raw with a vendetta. The Queen wants her shot at the Raw Women’s Championship, currently held by the women she beat at WrestleMania 36. Will Charlotte vanquish Rhea Ripley and win the title, and what role will Asuka play in this story?
