Becky Lynch’s desire for a singles match with Ronda Rousey

Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey had an intense rivalry in the past. ‘The Man- Becky Lynch’ and ‘Rowdy- Ronda Rousey’ had even headlined the main event of WWE’s biggest pay-per-view – WrestleMania 35. But it was a triple threat contest, as ‘The Queen- Charlotte Flair’ was also a part of the match.

The match was for the undisputed WWE women’s championship, as both Raw and SmackDown’s women’s championships were on the line. Becky won the match and became the first woman to hold both titles. Since then, Charlotte and Becky had many singles matches, but Rousey and Becky failed to register even a single match.

Rousey and Travis Browne welcomed a baby girl in August 2021. Given Becky’s comments, she feels Rousey could return by the end of the year. However, it is to be noted that ‘The Man’ stayed away for almost 8 months after her delivery.

Becky will defend her SmackDown’s women championship against Bianca Blair and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match at WWE Crown Jewel on Oct 21, 2021; Rousey has given no hint of returning soon.
