Becky Lynch Reveals How Seth Rollins and The Man Deal With WrestleMania Main Event Spot “Competition”

With WrestleMani coming up, Becky Lynch recently spoke about how she and Seth Rollins are in “competition” to main event at the PLE. In a recent post on Twitter, Lynch said that the two have a healthy competition with each other in seeing which of them will be able to make it to the WrestleMania main event. 

Married WWE stars are in a “happy competition” over WrestleMania

There is a happy battle going on between Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins over their parts at WrestleMania. Rollins holds the World Heavyweight Championship and Lynch wants to face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. 

You could make a case for both superstars to be the main attraction at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday. Lynch told Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful about their family feud at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show. Both stars are hopeful that they’ll get the chance to main event.

Lynch stated, “Yeah, it’s a happy competition because at the end of the day the best person is going to win, right? But there is nobody that has to work harder for the last 12 years for this company who has taken a lost and put it all on his back and has constantly done it with a great attitude and give his all and so to be able to watch him main event WrestleMania would be incredible.”

On the other hand, Lynch also said that she also deserved to main event at WrestleMania as much as Rollins, thanks to her contributions to the company. “To be able to watch me main event WrestleMania again would also be incredible because there’s no other woman that has done what I have done for the last decade with this company and putting it on my back,” she said.

Both Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have been the main attraction at WrestleMania before. Lynch won the Raw and SmackDown women’s titles at WrestleMania 35, and Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 31 to wrestle in a Triple Threat match against Brock Lesnar and Roman reigns.

For a number of reasons, Rollins seems to have been put on the backburner for has the major event at WrestleMania this year, but he has made it clear that he wants to defend his World Heavyweight Title. Meanwhile, Lynch went after Ripley during the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show and set her goals on the WWE Women’s World Championship. Lynch has a match at WWE Elimination Chamber on February 24 against Ripley for the number one spot to face her at WrestleMania 40.
