WWE Superstars are larger-than-life characters, but they, too, have a personal life. So, losing someone close to the heart is as painful for these Superstars as it would be for any human. The wrestling world woke up to a sad piece of news as WWE Superstar Becky Lynch announced the passing of her father on Instagram.
Becky Lynch remembers her father through a heartfelt Instagram post
‘The Man‘ uploaded a carousel of pictures with her father on Instagram with a long caption. Becky shared the news of his passing and then jotted down her feelings into words. She wrote that she and her brother always knew that their dad loved them unconditionally.

She recalled how her father would always say, “She’s just being herself,” during her teenage days of strange clothes and chokers. Becky emphasized how understanding and loving her father was.

Becky also added how her father kept faith in her despite her not being certain of herself. She detailed her father had more belief in her becoming a wrestler than herself. The Irishwoman also shared how her dad persuaded her to keep a diary when she was seven. And guess what? She still continues to keep a diary!
The former Raw Women’s Champion wished her father could’ve met his granddaughter Roux. She added he would’ve gotten a great kick out of her, before quoting him again, “She’s a great laugh.”

Becky Lynch concluded her Instagram post by mentioning at least she knew her dad was thrilled knowing his granddaughter is in this world. She hopes to approach parenting the same way her dad did with her and her brother.
Several fans and WWE Superstars, including Hollywood Megastar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, flooded the comments on Becky’s Instagram post with their condolences.
Becky’s dad couldn’t see his granddaughter because of COVID-19 travel restrictions. Luckily, Mr. Quinn was live at WrestleMania 35 when his daughter became Becky2Belts!

‘The Irish Lass Kicker’ did not provide details on how her father passed away, and we wouldn’t want to dig it up either. We all must respect the personal space of others. We send our heartfelt condolences to Becky for this tremendous loss.
