WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has never backed out from a fight. Her “fight everyone” attitude and persistence are what resonated with the fans and made her a superstar.

However, there was once a time when WWE officials barred Becky from working a match. And that really devastated Lynch. The match we are talking about was supposed to be between Lynch and Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series. However, that never happened.

The match was canceled because Nia Jax busted open Lynch’s nose and she had to be out of action for a long period of time. Talking to Ryan Satin on his podcast, “Out Of Character“, Lynch detailed her mixed feelings about the cancellation of the match.

“Ah, yeah, I was pretty devastated. I was also severely incurring costs and so I think that helped the devastation because really, I knew that if this match wasn’t going to happen now, it’s gonna happen at WrestleMania.”

“So I knew pretty quickly that it was a good thing that this had happened. But still, I was just, you know when your can cost you very emotional.”

“So I was really devastated that it wasn’t gonna happen. I was like, even in the hospital I was trying to think of ways that I could still have the match at Survivor Series and they were like no, no, no wrestling. I said ‘no, but I can just I can I could do this, and then she could do that but they were like no.”

Whatever be the case, the fans are just happy that the match finally happened at WrestleMania 35. And even the eventual winner was Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch unmatched record since WrestleMania 35

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion currently holds a record so unyielding that no one even comes close to it. Even WWE Legends such as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, John Cena, and Ric Flair can match this record.

The record is that for her every active day as a wrestler since WrestleMania 35, ‘The Man’ has held a WWE title. The only time she wasn’t with a title was when she gave it up to Asuka on Raw during the pandemic.

And the next time Lynch appeared on WWE television was on SummerSlam this year, where she squashed Bianca Belair for the title. This record is quite impressive and proves how dominating Lynch has been throughout her WWE career.
