WWE will hold its final main roster PLE of 2023 on Saturday with an iconic event set to record a number of twists and surprises. And the most anticipated one among all the others is none other than the former World Champion CM Punk reverting to the WWE ring.

There’s been a lot of back and forth with his return for months and the latest one came around last week’s SmackDown episode where a previous Ring of Honor CM Punk promo was referenced. On the other hand, WWE denied the notion repeatedly.

WWE made a last-minute tease on CM Punk’s slated return

Now, at the very last minute, they are giving us a last ray of hope. During the pre-event coverage of tonight’s PLE at Chicago, the crowd was roaring high with CM Punk chants as they always do, but Booker T’s reaction to the vociferous crowd spoke volumes.

He gave an enthusiastic and positive response while the chants were being chanted by the wrestling faithful. Now, we have to wait a bit for the final outcome.

Ryback will go down the ring forever if CM Punk returns tonight

The veteran we are talking about was none other than the Ryback. The former WWE superstar is still not out of the promotion officially. Although he was released by WWE in 2016 on the national wrestling scene, the 42-year-old has been stirring drama to get back in the squared circle for a while now.

And it seems like he’s still not done with throwing tantrums through ever-questionable social media behaviors. This time it hinges on the potential CM Punk return to the WWE Universe.

The Big Guy made a bombshell claim regarding Punk. He declared that he’s ready to hang up his boots for now and forever if the company brings back Punk at Survivor Series.

This obviously stemmed from the long tumultuous history between the two former superstars in the past. Ryback never hesitated to air his grievances toward the Best in The World.

But this time, he just unleashed all his suppressed rage with one shot.
