At Survivor Series 2022, the gimmick match, War Games was brought back to WWE. Previously, it was an integral part of the WWE NXT schedule. However, this year, Triple H turned things around and brought it to the main-roster.
It’s emergence in the main-roster turned out to be a success, with people loving the matches in it. However, during the post show press conference, reporters pounced on Triple H about the future of gimmick matches. To which, the former WWE Champion answered in a graceful manner.
He explained that he had his Hell in a Cell as a “giant blow-off in a feud”. The Game further stated that he visions Hell in a Cell being a gimmick match, rather than a Premium Live Event, and stated how gimmick events serve a different purpose.

Same thing, ‘That does it, I challenge you to Money in the Bank.’ Right? I feel like there’s a difference there.”

Currently under the reign of Triple H, most of the PPVs have been a success, and fans are looking forward to what more The Game has to offer.
