In a recent tweet, Nia Jax told the fans how much she appreciated them turning up even though the weather wasn’t ideal.

In fact, Night 1 was delayed because of the rain. The fans had to move out of the arena and wait until the rain stopped. However, the fans turning up and cheering for their favorite Superstars while booing the heels was what WWE needed.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler continue to dominate the Tag Team Championship

Jax and Baszler have been the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions for a while now. They’ve had several challengers till WrestleMania 37.

The number one contender for the Women’s Tag Team Championship was decided on Night 1 of WrestleMania 37. It was a tag team turmoil match between four tag teams.

  1. Natalya and Tamina
  2. Lana and Naomi
  3. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose
  4. The Riott Squad

Natalya and Tamina secured ultimate victory on Night 1 and earned the opportunity to fight for the Women’s Tag Team championship.

They battled Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on Night 2. Unfortunately, the match started off slow and wasn’t enough to keep the audience engaged. However, the four of them picked up the pace and ensured to bring the match back on track.

Natalya and Tamina had the chance to secure the match quite a few times, but that didn’t happen. Moreover, Tamina had put Jax when she delivered Superfly Splash on Jax.

Finally, it was Shayna Baszler who secured the victory when she locked Natalya in the Kirofuda Clutch. Natalya held on for a while but then passed out, and WWE declared Jax and Shayna the winners.
