Moreover, it’s confirmed that Big E has been booked for the entire show and he’ll be making appearances throughout the show. As of now, there’s no official statement from WWE about exactly what E will do.

WWE Raw is facing changes following AEW Dynamite

Last week, AEW Dynamite defeated Raw in terms of ratings in the 18-49 demo. Therefore, the company started making changes in order to pull ahead.

One, it moved the singles match between Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship from Extreme Rules to the weekly episode. Next, Big E announced cashing in his money in the Bank contract.

Here’s How AEW Forced WWE to Make Changes to Raw

Usually, no one announces their plans of cashing in the contract since it takes away the mystery. In this situation, the prior announcement could probably have something to intrigue the viewers and ensure they tune in for the show.

Otherwise, it doesn’t make much sense for Big E to announce his plans with the Money in the Bank contract.

Additionally, it can’t be a coincidence that WWE moved the Orton vs Lashley singles match and at the same time Big E is cashing in for the WWE Championship. So many things at the same time will want any wrestling fan to tune in, especially Orton’s, Lashley’s, and E’s.

Even though unlikely, in the off-chance that E walks away with the WWE Championship, it’ll mean that he will start working with Raw. You know who else is there on Raw? The New Day.

This could be a new beginning for The New Day as a faction where Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E are together again. Or, it could lead to rivalry between E and The New Day tag team because both Woods and Kingston pursued the WWE Championship.

A new storyline where it’s the classic friend to foe always worked. Hence, it all depends on how quickly WWE wants to pull ahead in ratings. And, how long it wants to stay ahead!
