In a nail-biting match in France, both teams gave it their all until the last minute of the bout. Initially, Belair and Cargill grasped control of proceedings, while the reigning champions used the numbers game and some double-team tactics to take the match in their favor. But the turning point occurred when Sane launched a huge crossbody from the top rope to the floor in a desperate effort to get the pin when she wasn’t seemingly legal. But it was not a very big deal and could easily be overlooked by fans if the referee hadn’t put a spotlight on it as he did.

Later on, Jade Cargill threw Kairi Sane around before hitting an exceptional Jaded. Belair followed up with a KOD on Asuka, throwing her straight on Sane to add insult to injury. The EST of WWE clinched the win by pinning Asuka. But did Belair get tagged in by her partner at all?

Noticing the disparity, people wildly started frowning at the former AEW star’s lack of selling and the botch involving not tagging her teammate. But it seems it’s the referee who deserves to be slagged as he made the real botch by allowing Belair to go for the pin despite not being tagged in by Cargill. The new tag team champion, however, didn’t let the criticism get into her skin, as she was too grateful for the second title win in her pro-wrestling career to care.
