

After months of back and forth, we finally have an answer to the Apollo Crews vs The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Bobby Lashley) feud. In a not-so-shocking turn of events, WWE Payback started with a shocking title change.
We have a new United States Champion at WWE Payback
After almost 10 minutes of fighting, Bobby Lashley won the United States Championship. He was accompanied by Shelton Benjamin and MVP.

However, the title could only change hands via pinfall or submission. Lashley defeated Crews with his full Lashley (full Nelson) submission.
This is Lashley’s second United States Championship after his first reign in 2006. The Championship is the first major title won by the Hurt Business. As we predicted earlier, this championship will surely help the stable gain some momentum.

The surprising factor in the entire match was how the rest of the members did not interfere in the match. However, as soon as the match was over, the members poured in some kicks and punches on the former champion.

As they promised earlier on the pre-show, the Hurt Business sent Crews home. Crews barely escaped the attack as he ran towards the back. The future of Crews remains in danger as of now.
Now, another question remains. Will Apollo Crews join the Hurt Business? It has been teased for weeks now.
There is a possibility we might see another Cena vs Nexus moment between him and the group. We expect to see some fireworks on Raw tomorrow as well as some spectacular promos.

No matter what happens – The Hurt Business is now a force to be reckoned with. With the championship, they will certainly get a major push from WWE. Will Crews succumb to the Hurt Business? We need to watch it on Raw tomorrow.
