Although he won the Universal Title, he relinquished it because of a shoulder injury. On his return on the main roster engaged him in other feuds with Happy Corbin, The Miz, Elias, and Bray Wyatt. But a major push was still needed. Later, in 2020, he got back to the NXT roster with a new heel gimmick then turned into a face again winning the NXT Championship.

Currently, he is drafted to Monday Night Raw and is engaged in a feud with Austin Theory. Probably, fans will lookup for a great push for Finn Balor.
