“Born to Play This Character”: YouTube and Twitter Explode as Dwayne Johnson Drops First Black Adam Trailer

The DC Extended Universe just dropped the trailer of the most awaited movie, Black Adam. It seems the lead actor, Dwayne Johnson, has done a fantastic job playing the Black Adam. The movie is going to be outstanding as Johnson has claimed over for several months.

This movie is one of the major projects of the DCEU. Dwayne Johnson has worked hard to play the protector of Khandaq. Also, the movie introduces Doctor Fate, Hawkman, and Atom Smasher of Justice League Society, turning Black Adam into a member of their team.

The trailer also saw a couple of comedic elements, which were a surprise as we considered Black Adam a serious movie. The film’s official release date is October 21, 2022, and it will open with a bang after an ecstatic reaction from the fans.

As promised, Dwayne Johnson shared the Black Adam trailer on his social media, along with DC’s social media. In the caption, the former WWE Champion wrote,

The fans were excited about the trailer, and after watching it, they couldn’t resist from giving their reactions. The hype of the movie pleased them as the trailer exceeded their expectations.

CinemaCon takeaways on the Black Adam trailer?

Sometime back at the CinemaCon, the attendees got to see the trailer of Black Adam. The trailer seemed connected to what they have shown the character in the comic books for years. Germain Lussier, a Senior Reporter for Gizmodo and io9, was present at the CinemaCon to witness the trailer for the first time.

He shared his notes about the trailer on Twitter saying, “Black Adam footage had real Black Panther vibes. Similar look, similar jets, similar speed. We see him as a slave, being reborn, firing lightning, taking down a helicopter and catching rockets. He’s then told that heroes don’t kill people. “Well, I do,” he retorts. #CinemaCon.”

The iconic part of the trailer was the line, “heroes don’t kill people. “Well, I do”. It’s a line Johnson is looking astounding while saying it. Fans will go crazy about this scene in the theatres. Also, in the future, it is said that the arch-rival of Shazam will appear in a Shazam movie as a villain.
