‘CM Punk, Take Notes’: Fans Troll AEW Star as Logan Paul Nails an Incredible Move at Crown Jewel 2022

Logan Paul Vs Roman Reigns rivalry finally culminated at the WWE Crown Jewel event. The match exceeded all expectations as the YouTuber-turned-wrestler Paul went toe to toe with The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. The Maverick’s quickness in the ring and his repertoire of moves had the fans in awe from the word go. Even Reigns took a few minutes to get settled in the encounter. He was seemingly surprised by his opponent’s array of moves and the near-perfect execution.

The lead-up to the match was dominated by conversations as to how Paul with his limited wrestling experience would fare against a battle-hardened Reigns.

The WWE Undisputed Universal Champion would also go on to question the credentials of the challenger on multiple occasions. Paul would go on to boast that he only needed to land ‘one lucky shot’ to knock the Champion off his feet.

The actual match between the two had everything. Terrific spots, outside interference, and surprises were the theme of the night. Both superstars put their bodies on the line to gain the win. Paul would even go on to pull off an insane Frog Splash with Reigns lying battered at the announcer’s table. 

Reigns would eventually go on to win the main event and retain his championship to continue his record-breaking run. However, Logan Paul impressed one and all with his ring work. With many comparing him to some of the most established wrestlers.

Fans troll CM Punk over a Logan Paul move

Among the plethora of the moves that Paul displayed on the night, a Buckshot Lariat off the rope caught the fans’ attention. AEW star CM Punk is associated with the move’s frequent use. Fans wasted little time in passing on their verdict over the move’s execution and poking some fun at Punk while at it.

Bringing Punk’s fellow AEW wrestler into the mix.

He wouldn’t want to be near when Paul delivered the move.

Logan Paul might have just come short in his quest to beat The Tribal Chief. But the fans were appreciative of the tremendous grit that he showcased in his performance. The execution of his moves did muster a lot of comparisons with wrestlers who take years to perfect their moves. And The Maverick will surely improve his in-ring skills as he continues on his wrestling journey.
