Bobby Lashley, the current WWE Champion, took a drastic step on Monday Night Raw, which shocked everyone watching the episode.
On Raw: March 29th, 2021, Lashley ended The Hurt Business when he demanded Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander leave the faction.
Lashley’s wrath towards them stemmed from Benjamin and Alexander losing to Drew McIntyre in a handicap match. Therefore, during the segment, MVP ripped into them and gave them a chance to speak up. Unfortunately, they got upset and shoved MVP.

This is when Bobby Lashley lost his cool and destroyed them. The segment ended with MVP and the WWE Champion watching the former members of The Hurt Business walking away.
WWE breaking up a major stable is quite the surprise, considering The Hurt Business was performing brilliantly for the past few months.
All the members of the group were performing well and received praise from fans almost every time they stepped inside the ring. It doesn’t seem natural for the company to break up this stable.
Dead weight’s gone. @CedricAlexander keep talking that sh*t you can get it too.
Opportunities like this don’t come around often. The #WWERaw roster better handle their business. pic.twitter.com/kg5ZQVOEY3

Another reason this is strange is because of what happened at a previous episode.
Monday Night Raw’s second most prominent faction, Retribution, also broke up in a similar way. Even there, the members turned against their leader. They put down Mustafa Ali before walking away from the ring.
There’s no concrete reason WWE is breaking up major factions, but if there’s one thing for sure, it’s that the company will bring forth something bigger and exciting after this.
Bobby Lashley puts the WWE Championship on the line
Lashley is preparing for his match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania.
The former champion was sniffing around for an opportunity to regain his former glory. He got to the chance when WWE booked him against Lashley for The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Both Superstars are equally worthy contenders for holding the WWE Championship title. Unfortunately, there can only be one victor.
If McIntyre wins, he regains his title, and all’s well in his world. Regrettably, this will mean Lashley’s reign as WWE Champion will be cut short.

This would upset a lot of individuals since everyone thought Bobby Lashley becoming the WWE Champion was a much deserved victory.
On the other hand, if Lashley retains the title at WrestleMania, there’s high doubt McIntyre will back off. He will keep coming back to the ring to challenge Lashley for the WWE Championship title.
