Well, it looks like WWE’s next big power couple has tied the knot. After a near two-year engagement, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch finally got married. WWE’s Messiah announced this massive news through his Instagram story and got the entire world talking.

On August 23rd, 2019, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch announced that she and Seth Rollins got engaged. The news came as a shock to everyone, especially since they only began dating in January 2019. However, it seemed like teaming up to beat up Baron Corbin really brings a couple together.

In May 2020, Lynch announced her pregnancy on an episode of Raw, relinquishing her Raw Women’s Championship. Her and Seth’s baby girl, Roux, was born on December 4th 2020. Half a year later, her parents got married in what seems like a very hushed manner. The pandemic kept them from having a proper wedding, but it looks like the Messiah and the Man couldn’t wait any longer.

The Messiah took to Instagram to post a story saying, “seems like a fine day to (finally) get married.” This sent fans into a tizzy, as Twitter exploded with reactions to the shocking, but exuberant news. WWE confirmed their marriage on their official website, congratulating the most iconic couple in wrestling right now.

Needless to say, this is shaping up to be a rollercoaster of a month for the Messiah. He picked up a huge win at Hell in a Cell against Cesaro, which put him in contention for the Universal Championship. Unfortunately, Edge’s return took away his title shot. But, it looks like he won the big one when he tied the knot with Becky Lynch.

In 2019, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch set temperatures rising when the news of their relationship became public. WWE confirmed this news on their website and capitalised on their popularity. With the couple holding the top titles in WWE, they looked absolutely untouchable.

After winning the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins head to WrestleMania to slay the Beast, Brock Lesnar and win the Universal Championship. On the same PPV, Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey for the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship. After their huge wins, a photo of the two of them kissing surfaced.

Then, WWE paired them together in tag team matches, including a huge double title defence at Extreme Rules. Rollins and Lynch faced Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in an Extreme Rules match, with the power couple retaining their titles.
