She found herself in a heated rivalry with Brie Bella. This stemmed from the actual feud between Daniel Bryan and the Authority. Stephanie won the feud after delivering a devastating Pedigree to Brie, defeating her,

“I’m so incredibly proud of that match. It was my most favorite match that I had ever had, not that I’ve had that many, until the match with Ronda happened, but I love Brie, you know, I love Nikki,” says Stephanie. “They’re incredible and to be able to go in there and have what was one of the biggest stories going into SummerSlam that year, you know, it was a privilege.”

The feud was ignited when Stephanie placed an ultimatum before Daniel Bryan and Brie. She gave them the option to choose between Bryan losing his title and Brie Bella getting fired.

When asked if that moment ranked high on the list of people she had slapped, Stephanie replied:

“It does it does, but you know Brie’s slapped me, that may have been a little bit of payback because when she had slapped me originally when I had put Daniel Bryan in the unfortunate position of he was either going to-, I believe I was going to strip him of the title or fire his wife ‘cause you know that’s kind of the person I am,” jokes Stephanie.

“But then anyway Brie then quits and she slaps me and let me just say it ranks as one of the hardest times I have ever been hit in my entire life,” says Stephanie. “Definitely like, I saw stars. She got me so good so I don’t know, maybe there was something built up in that moment.”

Even though the feud against Brie Bella may not have been the headliner, it was certainly fun to watch. Stephanie played a huge role in evolving the Women’s division. The feuds can now compete with the men’s division in terms of viewership. The future looks bright for the division as it grows bigger each day.
