The game features a special game mode celebrating forty years of WrestleMania with the poster consisting of legendary WWE superstars from the past, present, and future. As per the update, Lesnar has been removed from the poster and the game. In the previous version of the poster, he stood on the left of The Undertaker, a position now occupied by John Cena. The poster now has 13 superstars including The Rock and Roman Reigns.

It is a move made by WWE as a part of its erasure mechanism to deal with the ongoing McMahon scandal where Brock Lesnar is also involved in some capacity. WWE has already taken multiple countermeasures to tackle the issues and this was one of them. The poster was revealed last month just before Royal Rumble, an event where Lesnar was scheduled to make his return.
