The first Monday Night Raw of 2022 kicked off with the new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, who won a fatal-5 way match to become the WWE Champion at the Day 1 PPV. Paul Heyman accompanied the champion as he addressed the WWE Universe and mocked Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Lesnar said, “Before we get this party started, I would like to give a shout out to my good buddy Roman Reigns. He probably sitting at home, more likely tuned in to Monday Night Raw, tuned in to the new WWE Heavyweight Champion, the real champion Brock Lesnar. Get well soon buddy.”

“Now, South Carolina, acknowledge me. Also, I would also like you to acknowledge my advocate for advocating my free agency to pull all the strings on Saturday to help me to become the WWE Champion. Thank you. ” 

Lesnar and Heyman clearly mocked Roman Reigns on Monday Night Raw. Moreover, Heyman teased Roman about getting COVID because of the absence of his special counsel.
