

Hulk Hogan is someone who needs no introduction in the world of wrestling. Following Hogan’s debut, there were big expectations from him. Hogan certainly crossed all expectations and rose to superstardom during his tenure with WWE and WCW.
During an episode of Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, Prichard was asked what sort of preconceived notions did he have of Hulk Hogan prior to meeting him.

The Senior Vice President of WWE said that Hogan was charismatic and a showman. Prichard said, “He was a charisma, he was a showman, he was a showboat, and that was something that all the old promoters, they all just brutalized and they talked about how, you know, he couldn’t last five minutes with our champion.”
“Hogan, you know, he drops a leg, couldn’t crack an egg. They took every opportunity they could get to demean Hogan as a wrestler and to demean WWF as a promotion,” he added.

While Hogan became one of the biggest superstars of his era, there were people who doubted him at first. However, ‘The Hulkster’ proved them wrong as he went on to become a professional wrestling legend.

There was a craze that surrounded Hogan during his wrestling days as he became a fan favorite. Hogan produced many memorable moments that the WWE Universe cherishes even today.
But Hogan appeared not only in WWE but also in other wrestling promotions. He also appeared in WCW and NJPW. Over there as well, Hogan won many championships and accomplished many records.

The Hulkster looked like a dominant figure and went toe-to-toe with WWE superstars like The Rock and André the Giant.
Coming to his accomplishments, Hogan became the WWE Champion six times. He also won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Edge. Not only that, but The Hulkster also came out victoriously in two consecutive Royal Rumble matches (1990 and 1991).

He is also a six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Hogan is one of the very few WWE legends who got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice. First, he got inducted in 2005 and then once again in 2020.
