During an interview, Chris Van Vliet asked Kelly, “Who’s the superstar that can get you to break the character the easiest?” Kelly hesitantly replied, “I don’t wanna give him the credit, but Dom… Dom Mysterio. There have been a couple of times.”

Kelly works as a backstage interviewer in WWE. Therefore, she has to maintain her character despite how absurd or funny a superstar acts in front of the camera during backstage interviews. She revealed that Mysterio has often made her break character while shooting backstage interview segments.

Though she didn’t want to compliment her ex-best friend’s current romantic on-screen partner, she acknowledged Mysterio anyway. But soon she regretted making this public statement and requested Vliet to remove the particular segment on Twitter.

Kelly, being hesitant to praise Dom-Dom and wanting to take down her video praising him, is understandable as she has some history with Mysterio’s Mami.

Rhea Ripley dumped Cathy Kelly for Samantha Irwin

Ripley and Kelly developed a close relationship in WWE during their recent photoshoots, which also went viral on social media platforms. At one point, Kelly even started calling her best friend Ripley her “girlfriend.” But a while after, ‘Mami’ found herself a new friend and dumped Kelly for WWE ring announcer Samantha Irwin, who is also Kelly’s good friend.

However, it seems there is still some resentment left, as Kelly is unwilling to give even the tiniest bit of compliment to Ripley’s Latino Heat.
