Tensions erupted on the latest episode of Raw, as we saw a major heel turn. No one saw this coming, and the betrayal may just be as treacherous as Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Alexander, Ricochet, and Apollo Crews were set to take on The Hurt Business. However, Alexander made sure that didn’t happen. Initially making it look like he was on their side, as usual, Alexander played along.

When Ricochet tried to give him the hot tag into the match, he pulled his hand away and threw him out of the ring. He then went on to deliver the Lumbar Check on Apollo Crews!

The Hurt Business then had an easy win. They smiled approvingly at their new friend, who seems to have pledged his allegiance to the new kids on the block.

Cedric Alexander will have a much bigger role now

Cedric Alexander can now make his role more prominent as a Superstar with the Hurt Business. He will definitely get more attention and better limelight.

However, the same cannot be said of Ricochet and Apollo Crews. WWE hasn’t treated the former well at all and he has been badly underbooked. There’s a lot of potential going to waste when it comes to Ricochet.

Apollo Crews, on the other hand, hasn’t faced anyone but a member of the Hurt Business since June! This is a pretty eye-opening stat. It shows just how stale the storylines on Raw are.

WWE needs a fresh outlook when it comes to Raw, as well as some new life for Ricochet and Crews. The new trajectory this storyline has taken will be pretty exciting, but WWE must be careful. They cannot brush aside Crews and Ricochet yet again.

We can expect to see a new and improved version of Cedric Alexander over the next few weeks and we’ll be waiting.
