Johnny Gargano says his goodbye to the WWE Universe. A few weeks back, Johnny Gargano extended his contract with WWE. He took an extension for one week for NXT WarGames.

At NXT WarGames, Gargano competed against Team 2.0, where he faced defeat in his last match. Since 2015, Gargano is on the NXT roster. He gave his best to showcase his skills to prove his worth. He made his Johnny Wrestling nickname famous.

However, some things change as time passes on.

The recent episode of NXT 2.0 featured Johnny Gargano’s promo, where he talked about his NXT journey and thanked everyone for supporting him. The WWE fans gave a standing ovation for Gargano.

Johnny Gargano addressed the NXT audience with his emotional words. The man who walked with pride was emotional on his last day in NXT. He mentioned NXT’s General Manager William Regal for bringing him on the NXT roster after his dark matches.

Gargano thanked his fans for supporting him on his WWE journey. He also added that he is going to be a dad soon and his future is still on hold.

Gargano said, “If there’s one message I want to leave for you guys, is you will never fail if you bet on yourself. And I don’t know what my immediate future holds, that’s up in the air now still, I may do some things here and there, but I do know one thing for sure, but in February, I’m going to start the most important job of my life, because I’m going to be a dad,”

Johnny Gargano is a former NXT Champion and competed in many intense matches. His rivalry match with his former tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa is regarded as one of the best matches in NXT history. The match got a 5-star rating from the fans which made a tremendous impact on his career.

Grayson Waller delivers a bitter farewell to Johnny Wrestling

Johnny Gargano was thankful for his fans and WWE management. However, Gargano’s farewell didn’t go well as Grayson Waller attacked him.

Grayson Waller attacked Gargano with a steel chair and assaulted him outside the ring. Waller horribly smashed Gargano on the steel steps, putting him between the steel chair. However, he didn’t stop there. Eventually, he dragged Gargano and slammed him with a powerbomb on the announce desk. Waller’s actions shocked fans with his attack on Gargano.

As per the reports, Gargano’s contract had expired, but he might return. After Waller’s attack, Gargano could take revenge on him. Or else, we could see him on the main roster if he signs again with WWE.
