Charlotte Flair Gets Emotional Talking About Ric Flair and Andrade Ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2021

It is common know at this point that WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Ric Flair is no longer associated with WWE. Now his daughter ‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair has taken up the mantle of the Flair legacy.
With Ric’s time off, he walked his future son-in-law, Andrade, to the ring in AAA’s TripleMania event. Speaking to Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions live, Charlotte got very emotional.

“I actually took off two-and-a-half months ago from live events and if you know me, I haven’t asked off a live event in like five years. Actually, I’ve never asked off a live event. I’ve missed one due to being sick. With my dad being gone, I asked him on Wednesday, I was like ‘hey, what are you doing this weekend?’ He’s like ‘nothing honey, why?’ I’m like, ‘Do you want to go to Mexico?’.”

“He was like, ‘For what? Cancun?. Don’t you have to work?’ I was like, ‘No dad, will you walk Manny to the ring?’. He was like, ‘You want me to walk Manny to the ring?. And I’m like yes! He’s like, ‘Oh my god! Yes, honey, please’. He’s so excited. He’s like, ‘What color is Manny wearing? I’ll get matching suits.'”

‘The Nature Boy’s presence made the entire show even better; a pleasant surprise for the fans. Also, it was good to see the legend smiling and enjoying time with his family.
Can Charlotte Flair win at SummerSlam?

The Queen will face Nikki A.S.H. for the Raw Women’s Championship in a triple threat match, along with Rhea Ripley. The match is highly unpredictable, as all three women have the caliber to carry the women’s division forward. It is up to WWE to select the most deserving one.

The fans loved the title reign of ‘The Nightmare‘ but maybe they love Nikki’s a little more. This in no way means that we should count Flair out of the equation. Her skills in the squared circle made her the wrestler she is today.
