Charlotte Flair on Real Life Heat With Becky Lynch: “There’s Only Room for One”

Fighting against your former best friend is a more difficult task than dealing with your greatest enemy. Even though Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch share a bitter relationship, they still cherish the bond they once shared. After all, they are human beings too. Recently, Flair revealed the reason behind the downfall of the beautiful friendship that she once shared with Becky Lynch.
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch are the two ultimate heavyweights in the WWE’s women’s division. On this Sunday, the two women will write the next chapter of their much-talked-about rivalry at the Survivor Series PPV. Prior to their showdown this Sunday, the two women have fired shots at each other constantly.
Recently, Charlotte talked about her real-life heat with Becky. Even though she defined Becky Lynch as her competition, Charlotte also admitted that there will be room for only one at the top.

Speaking on ESPN FC’s Get Up show, Flair acknowledged ‘The Man‘ as her competition and gave her take on the downfall of their friendship. Charlotte said (Sportskeeda Wrestling), “Here’s how I look at it. You have two women at the top of their game and both of them want to be the best. So who’s the best?”
“Competition breeds competition, and I think we just got older and not necessarily that success doesn’t get to your head and that’s why you lose a friendship. It’s just we both want to be on top, and there’s only room for one,” she added.

Tension rise between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch following their title exchange on SmackDown last month
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were scheduled to exchange their respective championship belts on the very first episode of WWE SmackDown following the Crown Jewel PPV. But Flair did not act according to the script. Instead of handing over the Raw Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch, she dropped it on the ground.

Speaking to the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast earlier this month, Becky Lynch threw light on her real-life issue with Charlotte. She admitted it is always more difficult to battle someone inside the squared circle with whom you share real-life issues.
