2020 is about to end, and we’re just a month away from the 2021 Royal Rumble! Drew McIntyre has the mammoth challenge of AJ Styles at WWE TLC before the Royal Rumble. Charlotte Flair, winner of last year’s women’s Rumble, is nowhere to be seen as we prepare for next month.

Charlotte Flair returning soon?

According to a report by Inside The Ropes, the plans for Charlotte Flair’s WWE return are now ‘locked in,’ and she can return to the company anytime now.

It was also reported that Charlotte wanted concrete, long-term plans laid for her return. The reason is the creative tussle ‘The Queen‘ faced between the Raw and NXT writing teams earlier this year.

WrestleVotes had reported talks of an on-screen pairing of Andrade and Charlotte Flair being discussed backstage a few weeks ago. Updating on that, it was revealed that the talks for an on-screen pairing were tossed in the bin. It didn’t even reach Charlotte Flair before going in the bin (wonder what it was?).

The return is imminent

Andrade, on the contrary, has been off TV since mid-October when he and former manager Zelina Vega were attacked by The Fiend and Alexa Bliss. Vega was released from the company a week later, leaving Andrade without a mouthpiece.

While Andrade and Charlotte are a real life couple, it doesn’t always pay off on-screen, right? We’re glad WWE didn’t go that route. We all saw what they did in the Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch vs Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans feud.

Charlotte Flair is a big name in the entire women’s division of any wrestling promotion. Her return to WWE will surely bring a few eyes to the product, but will it be worthwhile? It depends on the WWE creative team.

There are separate plans in place for Andrade too! It’s just a matter of time before they return to WWE TV. How would you book Andrade and Charlotte’s return to the company? Share in the comments below!
