WWE WrestleMania 39 concluded a few days back and despite being anticipated to make an appearance, Dwayne Johnson didn’t show up and let his fans down.

However, fans will soon see Dwayne Johnson in a Christmas movie with the Captain America fame Chris Evans. And in-between all this, the former Marvel star shared his working experience with Johnson and once again put him in the spotlight.

Recently Chris Evans appeared at Chicago’s C2E2 expo, the Hollywood star Chris Evans talked about Dwayne Johnson and their upcoming Christmas movie ‘Red One’. Evans said that he has always wanted to work in a Christmas movie but never got an opportunity till now. 

Then he praised Dwayne Johnson saying that he is a very nice and funny guy. Evans even mentioned that Johnson knows what he does, and he is amazing at delivering projects.

While praising Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans said, “Dwayne is just unbelievable. He’s such a nice guy…….he’s incredible at what he does actually, he’s so funny. He’s really charming and really knows. What (he) knows, he’s great at it and does it really, really well.”

Evans further praised the director Jake Kasdan saying that the script was quite funny and that working with both Johnson and Kasdan was one of his best experiences in Hollywood.

“And Jake Kasdan, the director, is just fantastic and the script is really funny. I just was like, I gotta take this opportunity. And it was fantastic. It was one of the best working experiences I ever had.”

The movie Red One is filmed under Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Seven Bucks Productions’. Fans have set their eyes on this movie since it is going to be the first one after Johnson’s harrowing departure from the DC Universe.

Johnson unwillingly said goodbye to the DCEU films

Last year, Dwayne Johnson entered the DC Universe as Black Adam. This movie was the 11th film in the DC Universe and the debut one of DJ. Although the movie didn’t do exceptionally well at the box office, it was a massive hit among some cult comic book fans and got a 6.5 rating on IMDB. But even after this, it wasn’t good enough for The Rock to return as Black Adam.

Earlier this year, Johnson gave the long-awaited update to his fans regarding the future of Black Adam’s character, saying that it won’t be part of DC’s first chapter.  He also gave hope to fans by stating that DC and Seven Bucks will continue to explore the most valuable ways to utilize Black Adam in future DC multiverse chapters. 

The main reason why fans are more attracted to this upcoming Christmas film is that both Johnson and Evans play entirely different roles in their movies. Where The Rock usually prefers the action comedy genre, Evans sticks to serious roles. Now that both stars are sharing the screen in a holiday movie, it would be interesting to see how good their on-screen chemistry turns out to be.
