CM Punk Drops a Major Update on Renee Young’s Future

CM Punk conducted a Twitter Q&A session while watching baseball and doing some squats. He encouraged his fans and audience to ask him questions using the hashtag #askpunk.There were quite a few interesting questions along with answers. One of the questions that gathered the attention of his fans is about him working with Renee Young.

He was asked – “How was/is it working with Renee Young? #askpunk”

Renee Young plans to come up with her own podcast

According to CM Punk, he thoroughly enjoyed working with Renee young and is quite excited for her future. In fact, he reveals that there is a cook book and a podcast that is coming our way from Renee young.

“Renee is the best. Super excited for her! Can’t wait for the cook book and the podcast….”

CM Punk and Renee Young were co-hosts for WWE Backstage before FOX stripped the show after a few months of it commencing.

Renee Young’s final date with WWE will be during SummerSlam. Following that she is preparing to say a hearty farewell to Vince McMahon and WWE.

Young has been with the company since 2012 and she regularly hosted in-ring segments along with WWE Backstage. Furthermore, she was a part of season 6 of Total Divas.

As of now, there is no further update from her end about any future plans she might have. Most fans are of the opinion that Renee Young quitting WWE will come across as a huge blow for the company. There is possibly no one who can replace Young and keep up the work she has been doing with and for the company.

There is news of her receiving offers from outside the wrestling universe. Only time will tell if she chooses to cash out on one of those options.

On the other hand, her husband, Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose), is a part of AEW and is doing some good work there. Her skills and talents will bring great benefits to Tony Khan and AEW. This might possibly be her future direction.
