It is genuinely rare for his fans to see him praise another wrestler as he does to Bret. Maybe, Punk connects with Bret on how WWE did both wrestlers wrong on so many levels.

On Hart’s birthday, Punk remembers that Bret indeed is “The Best there is, The Best there was and The Best there ever will be.” We don’t think the subject is even up for debate.

Bret Hart had his struggles

Hart’s WCW run was awful, to say the least, and his career-ending injury was devastating for all. In an interview with “Inside the Ropes“, Bret Hart opened up about the same,

When Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head and ended my career, it was such a lousy way to go. I didn’t know my career was over and when I did go home — it took me a year to find out that my career was over.

“Right around the time, I found out — my doctors told me that I could never wrestle again. Then the WCW fired me. From the day I got hurt, my million-dollar salary got cut every week. It got cut in half and got cut in half and got cut in half and cut in half till there was nothing left

The fans will never forget how WCW and WWF treated the best technical wrestler of all time. Hart’s contributions to the world of wrestling will forever be cherished and remembered.

Now, other members of the Hart family have stepped up to drive the family name forward in wrestling. The fans are eager to see what’s in store for them next.
