When Seth Rollins realized Cody Rhodes was outnumbered against the Samoan faction, he offered to join The American Nightmare in the battle against some of the most formidable opponents in WWE history and serve as his “Shield”. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will now be taking part in The Grayson Waller Effect at the upcoming 2024 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Ahead of their arrival on the show, Waller has decided to poke fun at their feud.

Grayson Waller intends to bestow his signature “Rub” upon Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in his native Australia.

On February 14, WWE’s The Bump, Grayson Waller announced that he would be hosting a special episode of the Grayson Waller Effect at WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, as The Road to WrestleMania warms up. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will be his guests during this special edition.

Rhodes and Rollins are working together on “The Road to WrestleMania” to fight Reigns and The Rock. Along with this, recently, over social media, Waller posted, saying, “Be Your Shield” 🤣. It looks like he’s hinting that the alliance between Rhodes and Rollins will be shortlived, probably expiring at WrestleMania. 

On the February 12 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins advised Cody Rhodes that he does not need to enter his WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns alone. Rollins would subsequently propose to serve as Cody Rhodes’ shield against Reigns in the impending match.

As The American Nightmare prepares to engage in a singles match against Drew McIntyre, the forthcoming episode of Monday Night is a significant event for Cody Rhodes’s supporters. The promotion announced this match following the most recent episode of the red brand, in which Shinsuke Nakamura prevailed due to Sami Zayn’s distraction during the main event of The Scottish Warrior.

Additionally, Cody Rhodes intervened to prevent McIntyre from launching a post-match assault on Sami Zayn. Because of this, a fight between these two stars was announced.
