3 Cody Rhodes’ Friends Who Could Hop to WWE to Help Him ‘Finish His Story’ at WrestleMania XL, Shocking Fans

As announced by Triple H on the last episode of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes is set to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL main event. However, Roman Reigns has received major support in the form of The Rock, who promised to aid his cousin, his blood. Well, it is the aid Reigns has received that has helped him in his record-breaking run as Champion. And we expect nothing less this time. But Cody Rhodes has also received some support and probably will have more support at WrestleMania.

As Cody Rhodes decided to challenge Reigns, the tide started to shift in his favour. Not only did he receive the support of Triple H, but also of RAW GM Adam Pearce and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis. Along with the WWE fans, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has also shown support towards Cody Rhodes and his American Dream story.

However, there is a chance that WWE may bring in more surprises at WrestleMania in aid of Cody Rhodes. Who could it be? Well, we may see some special appearances from his brother Dustin Rhodes aka Goldust, former AEW World Champion MJF, and Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder in WWE.

Dustin Rhodes, formerly known as Goldust in WWE was the tag team partner of Cody Rhodes during their stay in the company. His presence will not only boost the confidence of his brother but also protect him from any potential attack from The Bloodline members. The other candidate could be MJF who is currently on a break from AEW. His last appearance in the company was on The World’s End PPV where he lost the world title to Samoa Joe.

WWE fans could also see Matt Cardona aka Zack Ryder who has been a close friend of Cody Rhodes since their WWE days. The two stars remained friends when The American Nightmare turned to the Indie circuit in 2015. While Rhodes has returned to WWE, Cardona remains a free agent and the king of the Indie circuit.

Interestingly, Cardona’s wife, Chelsea Green is a WWE superstar and hence we could see Cardona in the front row with the audience. So, it would be easier for him to get involved in The Bloodline’s business.
