Cody Rhodes Highlights How Paul Heyman’s 1-Month-Old Mistake Is Going to Haunt Him at WrestleMania: “ I Worry More About Your Safety”

With WrestleMania just a few days ago, WWE is giving everything fans love. From the amazing buildups to the phenomenal promos, Since the beginning of 2023, the creative has been showering WWE Universe with pure entertainment.

Fans go crazy wherever they see Paul Heyman with a mic. He cut a flawless promo with Cody Rhodes after Elimination Chamber where he showed up on the screen with a broken neck. WWE Universe loved it. However, it didn’t go well with Rhodes as Heyman trash-talked about his wife Brandi. Rhodes said that Heyman will regret this at WrestleMania.

Rhodes hinted at a one-on-one moment between Heyman and Brandi at WrestleMania

Recently, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes appeared in the ‘SI Media with Jimmy Traina’ podcast. There, the host asked Rhodes about his promo with Paul Heyman, during which Heyman trash-talked about his wife Brandi Rhodes. To this Cody Rhodes instantly replied that he is not a “white knight” in his relationship as Brandi can easily protect herself and it should be Heyman who needs to worry.

Talking to the host, Cody Rhodes said, “A hundred percent and what people don’t know about my relationship with Brandy is I am not a white knight. I am not…….I am not her protector. My wife will whoop your a**. I worry more about your safety from her than from me and she’s always done her own thing.”

Rhodes further said that Heyman was very lucky as she wasn’t there at the time of the promo but this weekend, she will be there and might have a word with ‘The Wiseman’ of ‘The Bloodline’.

“Mr Heyman was very lucky that he was able to slide that one across without Brandy being in Ottawa at the time where that was but they uh they’ll probably see each other this weekend and who knows uh how it will go.”

Even though Cody Rhodes nailed the promo, he didn’t know anything about Heyman mentioning his wife.

Cody Rhodes didn’t know that Heyman would mention Brandi

Before that, the host also asked Rhodes if he knew about it. To this Rhodes replied that the higher he goes in terms of top players, the less he knows about the situation, but he should have the answer for everything.

“I’ll say that the higher up I go in a sense of personalities of the top players ….you are Roman Reigns for example and you’re Mr Heyman the less I know about the situation, the more it becomes a matter of I’ve done this so long. I should have an answer for everything.” 

Lately in an interview, Cody Rhodes mentioned that he has promised a WrestleMania moment to his wife. Even though he has clarified that she will not be interfering in the match but fans are expecting to see Brandi in action. And with Rhodes’ recent statement, it might be possible that she could have a moment with Paul Heyman.
