Erik underwent a successful neck fusion surgery
Erik went to his official Instagram profile to disclose that he had a successful C6 / C7 fusion surgery. Now, he is on his road to recovery. He expressed his gratitude to the doctors and medical staff who treated him. He also extended a big thanks to WWE, who made sure to give him the best care possible.

Will Erik ever wrestle again?
Life is uncertain. No one knows what might happen the next day. Speaking of which, Erik’s wrestling career seems to be hanging by a thread given his recent injury. As you know, many wrestlers like Edge, Paige, Tyson Kidd, Steve Austin, and more had to retire early because of a neck injury.

Some users suggested an alternative career path if the worst scenario comes to fruition.
Neck surgeries aren't something to fuck with. Wishful thinking if he can return to active competition. If not he can always try his hand at producing
