Completely Sober for Five Years, Ex-WWE Star Receives Plaudits From Charlotte Flair, Zelina Vega, Mandy Rose, and More for Sharing Her Traumatic Past

It’s quite often seen that pro wrestlers update fans with their personal life details. Sometimes it helps them in recovering from their troubled situation as fans support their beloved superstars. However, not only fans but other wrestlers coming from different promotions, don’t shy away from supporting one another, as seen in the case of Paige. 

AEW star Saraya, known as Paige to WWE fans, has had a magnificent tenure in the Stamford-based promotion. However, when the former WWE Divas Champion caught up in drug and alcohol addiction, a downward spiral started in her life. Fortunately, the superstar sought out the help she needed and now she is proudly sober for five years. To celebrate this noteworthy journey of hers from an addict to being sober, Saraya took to her social media handle.

Taking it to Instagram, a few hours back, the ex-WWE star shared pictures of her from the time she was addicted to alcohol and drugs. Along with it were her photos from the recent past showing her evolved self. The pictures are in itself proof of her difficult yet successful journey of quitting drugs and alcohol.

That being said, from the caption, it’s evident how fortunate Saraya feels to be where she is right now. And this yearly reminder of her grueling fight to be sober and turn into the best version of herself surely pleases her the most.

In this voyage of transformation, there were her family and friends who stood beside her, encouraging her to move ahead. Even now, when Paige proudly celebrates her challenging phase of life, her previous colleagues from WWE applaud the loudest for her.

Even though the 30-year-old star went to AEW last year after her contract expired with WWE, her well-wishers from there didn’t hesitate to cheer for her. Recently, Saraya gave her honest opinion of WWE, which might have strengthened her bond with the promotion even more.
