Most fans expected Brock to wipe the floor with Bryan, but they ended up seeing a true once in a lifetime classic.

In an interview with My Mom’s Basement, Daniel Bryan talked about his match with Brock Lesnar. He also revealed how he appreciated Brock after the match.

“But I love my match with Brock Lesnar, and I think it’s just really cool because I had just turned into a bad guy the week before and like oh man, I finally get to wrestle Brock Lesnar and it’s as a bad guy, but one of the things that I’m very, very proud of is I went out to boos, got them to cheer me by the end and then when I left, they still booed me.

“Wrestling Brock gave me a deep-seated appreciation for how great Brock is,” said Bryan.

While he loved this match, he claims his match with Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35 is his favourite. He even claimed the moment fans hijacked Raw with Daniel Bryan chants in 2013 was the moment that meant the most to him.

What’s next for him?

Lots of speculation has surrounded the situation with Daniel Bryan’s career in WWE. After losing to Roman Reigns last week, Bryan finds himself banished from SmackDown. However, it appears as if his contract with WWE has also ended.

But Bryan’s contract expiration points towards an appearance in Jacksonville.
