Xavier Woods was recently announced as one of the new hosts for the revamped G4 Network. Many of Woods’ friends congratulated him on Twitter, including AEW superstar Adam Cole. Cole might have departed from WWE to AEW for new opportunities, but his love for his fellow WWE superstars hasn’t faded one bit.

Cesaro first congratulated The New Day member when Cesaro tweeted out a picture of Woods with the announcement. The Swiss Superman asked everyone to stream it and thanked them for supporting his friend.

Adam Cole, too, took to Twitter to express his happiness for his friend on his achievement. He quoted Cesaro’s tweet and added, “None deserves this more!!! So so cool. @G4TV is lucky to have you“.

Adam and Woods are good friends. Cole has made numerous appearances on Xavier’s YouTube channel ‘UpUpDownDown’ as well.

The AEW star has shown his support for The King Of The Ring many times before too. When Woods defeated Jinder to advance to the finals of the KOTR tournament, Cesaro and Cole expressed their love on Twitter.

It’s refreshing to see such friendships still be in place despite the rivalry between AEW and WWE. It shows that the brand supremacy war only exists between the fans and the company owners rather than the people working in the companies.

Adam Cole hasn’t appeared in UpUpDownDown in the past two months because WWE partly owns woods’ Youtube channel. Hopefully, we get to see Da Party reunite one day again!

Xavier Woods calls being The King a dream.

Xavier Woods is having the run of his life as he won The King Of The Ring tournament after defeating Finn Balor almost a month ago now. Fans had been waiting to see Woods get his chance at individual glory, and he has undoubtedly made the WWE universe proud.

Xavier Woods recently spoke to Ryan Satin on his show ‘Out Of Character,’ and he talked about his dream to win the tournament.

“I wanted to be King of the Ring because in my head, being a fan of King Arthur and the Medieval times. I realized that when Kings needed to fight, there would be times when they would have a champion fight for them, but there were times when a champion wanted to fight, and I don’t remember them ever having a King fight for them.”

He revealed that being a King from a young age means being on top of the food chain.

“There’s nothing above being King. The champion is right underneath, so the King is in charge. To me, you have this crown, and you have this title for a year. That means that you get to play around, have fun, and do your thing for a full year.” (H/T  WrestlingNews.co)
