In a profession, co-workers sometimes become more like a family. An individual spends one-third of his day with his colleagues and eventually makes a connection with them. Especially in pro wrestling, where superstars have to travel constantly on the road. Last Saturday night, WWE fans pointed out a similar bond of friendship that has been formed in the show business over the years.

The Fiend Bray Wyatt made his return in Extreme Rules last Saturday. The company has been teasing the return of The Fiend for the past few weeks. Wyatt finally appeared at the end of the main event with his signature horrific entrance and a new mask. But one thing only a few die-hard fans noticed was the hidden tribute to his deceased co-star at his entrance.

WWE fans came to the conclusion on social media that the entrance of Bray Wyatt had a hidden tribute to Brodie Lee. Lee was a key member of the Wyatt family for a long time before his departure to AEW in 2019. He died in 2020 due to a rare condition of pulmonary fibrosis which affected his lungs.

Brodie Lee and Bray Wyatt were very close and it would make perfect sense if he gave a tribute to his deceased friend. WWE fans were as always, attentive and pointed out the hidden details.

His old mask during his Bludgeon Brothers days was also seen in Extreme Rules.

According to some fans, an AEW reference was there too, as he was with the promotion during his last days.

Bray Wyatt is known for his attention to detail and it’s not a coincidence according to some fans.

Several fans were of the opinion that it was a tribute to Lee.

Since Triple H became Head of Creative, he has been planting Easter eggs and hidden clues all around the product. This could also be one of the ploys that he planned with Bray Wyatt.
