Just like the year 1999, 2015 was a special year for both Arnold and WWE. It was the year he was inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame as a celebrity inductee. Speaking to IGN on the occasion, he acknowledged the strength of WWE superstar Brock Lesnar and revealed being scared of him.

In the interview, he also revealed that he would have chosen the name ‘Austrian Oak’ and worked as both heel and face. He referred to his role as Terminator which is considered as a villain and hero in the franchise. Schwarzenegger would have liked to see the Predator in the wrestling ring. He said “Not mine, but a character I have fought: the Predator. Can you imagine the Predator jumping into the ring?”
When asked about the Terminator gimmick in the WWE ring, he feels any battle against the Terminator would be unfair in the WWE ring as it is a machine. But Conan, the barbarian, is the closest character he can think of as an opponent. Then he revealed that in the wrestling ring, he enjoyed watching the Rock and Stone Cold, but his all-time favorite wrestler was the record holder WWE champion, Bruno Sammartino.

The other major involvement Schwarzenegger had with WWE was during the year 2015 commercial for WWE 2K16 Game that recreated his iconic scene from The Terminator 1984 movie. In the scene, he walks into the bar as Terminator (just like in the movie scene) and sees WWE superstars Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Paige, Eva Marie, and others. But none can scare the Terminator, except maybe Brock Lesnar.
