Despite Denying an Imminent Comeback Into Pro Wrestling, Mandy Rose Releases a Positive Update: “I’m Very Happy”

Former WWE star Mandy Rose doesn’t stop to be a social butterfly amid her ongoing in-ring hiatus. In this era, the term almost social almost stands for social media, the best-interacting hub for celebrities. Rose has been quite active on those platforms and was visibly fond of various ongoing trends.

Recently, the Golden Goddess started a Q&A session through Instagram stories and received a bunch of unique questions from her fans. Among all the questions, the most predictable was the one regarding her in-ring return. The star dropped a vague answer as a response.

Rose debuted in the Stamford-based company in 2015 after participating in Tough Enough. After a happening career of seven years, the former NXT Women’s Champion got fired from the company last year due to some offensive content on her FanTime page. The day prior, she lost the NXT Women’s Championship title to Roxanne Perez, ending a 413-day reign.

A lot of fans called out WWE after her controversial release. It drummed up even more criticism after Rose revealed that she received no prior warning before getting sacked from the roster. However, ever since, fans have been waiting with bated breath to see the 32-year-old wrestle again. Her Instagram stories’ question was only a small reflection of that.

The star replied to the fan’s query, saying, ”I don’t know. Just have to wait and see if and when. But I will say I am very busy right now. I’m doing a lot of cool things. I can’t share it with you guys and I am very happy. So that’s all that matters”

She gave a similar answer while appearing on The Ethan, Lou & Large Dave Show earlier this week.

From both updates, fans can be hopefull that she is up for lacing her boots again. Even if not immediately, there still remains a slight possibility down the line.

Rose also got a fan’s proposal in the same Q&A thread and replied to him with a flying kiss.

The former NXT Women’s Champion has countless admirers, and social platforms are the safest places for them to express their love for the former NXT star. One of them shot a daring question, “Are you married? If not, will you marry me and have my kids?”

Pointing toward her shining engagement ring, Rose promptly replied, “I’m engaged, sorry” with a kiss.

Rose got engaged with fellow former WWE star Tino Sabbatelli last year after four years of courtship. The couple first met at WWE Performance Center during Rose’s match in Touch Enough. Eventually, they grew a strong bond and developed mutual romantic feelings for each other.

Mandy Rose previously disclosed that they will possibly exchange vows in the fall of 2024.
