Rhea Ripley has been a dominant force in the Women’s RAW division. She made her name in the roster when she started man-handling male performers including Carl Anderson, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, and Rey Mysterio. But when she attacked Cody Rhodes, it triggered a 40-year-old former wrestler.

However, she has acknowledged the strength of Rhea Ripley by jokingly indicating that she would incite death at the hands of Ripley. But she still chose to target the female star through social media.

Former AEW star rejects the prospect of a match against Rhea Ripley

In an interview uploaded on Ring The Belle channel on September 23, the wife of WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes spoke about leaving AEW and her current wrestling aspirations. During one segment of the interview, she spoke about her recent tweet aimed at WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.

During the interview, the former AEW star said “But let’s be real. I’m not gonna wrestle Rhea Ripley. I’m not even training right now. Like what, y’all want me to get killed? Seriously.” Brandi Rhodes acknowledged The Eradicator’s strength and wrestling prowess. She jokingly admitted that The Judgement Day member might kill her if they face off now inside the ring.

She further explained how she probably could have challenged Ripley depending on the circumstances but not in her given conditions. She said, “Um, but you know, I mean if I was training, yeah or something maybe. Maybe, but no. No mommy is Mommy will do mommy things and let her. She’s that mami with the m-a-m-i, I’m m-o-m-m-y.”

Currently, she spends her time inside a yoga studio as opposed to the squared circle. She hasn’t engaged in wrestling for a while since her AEW days. But she clarified that she has a chance against Ripley only if she were training for wrestling. However, she is a mother now while Ripley is a WWE Champion. But how did this rivalry start between the two?

How did the rivalry between The Eradicator and Brandi Rhodes begin?

Brandi Rhodes made a tweet on June 6th, 2023 with the caption, “Papa won’t hit Mami… but Mommy will.” It was a message from Brandi Rhodes to Ripley as Cody Rhodes had refused to attack Rhea Ripley on multiple occasions despite her interferences.

The moment happened on an episode of RAW in June when Dominik Mysterio faced Cody Rhodes. Ripley was present beside Mysterio’s corner when she attacked Rhodes and threw him at the staircase. It triggered Brandi Rhodes to throw tantrums at the female star on X.
