Details on Eva Marie’s WWE Return Revealed

Of all the names that could bring a certain amount of excitement to the WWE, Eva Marie is not one. However, the former WWE Superstar is looking to make a return to wrestling and the WWE. According to PWInsider, the former Superstar is continuing her training in Orlando for her upcoming WWE return.

There is a rumour going around that says Eva Marie is going to debut as Angel Garza’s new love interest. The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion has been portraying a different, seductive character for a while now. He even posted a very interesting tweet which had fans jumping at the prospect of Eva Marie’s return.

According to Fightful Select, the former Superstar is internally scheduled to appear on WWE Raw’s Legends’ Night. Although Eva Marie is far from being considered a legend, her appearance on RAW would be a welcome sight for some. There have also been rumors that she was present at Tropicana Field for Monday Night Raw.

It is likely that WWE will bring back Eva Marie even if it is for just one night. However, the news that her training is still continuing might hint at a longer run with the company.

Debuting in 2013, she has wrestled only a handful of matches in NXT and the main roster. Hopefully, her training improves her wrestling skills, making her more than just eye candy.

Eva Marie’s WWE career

The former Superstar debuted on RAW in 2013 and was soon recruited as the manager for the Bella Twins. Along with wrestling, Eva was a star on the reality show Total Divas. Her training regiment with WWE legend Brian Kendrick is one of the highlights of the already reputed show.

Despite being involved in a few high-profile matches, Eva was sent down to NXT. She enjoyed quite a bit of success at Full Sail, even though the NXT Universe absolutely hated her.

Marie pulled off upsets against the likes of Carmella, Billie Kay and Liv Morgan. She even received an NXT Women’s Championship match against Bayley but was unsuccessful in winning.

Eva’s last run for WWE was on SmackDown where she faked a wardrobe malfunction to get out of wrestling. Soon after that, she was replaced with Nikki Bella in a huge SummerSlam six-woman tag team match. After violating the company’s Wellness Policy, Marie parted ways with WWE in 2017.
