Details on The Undertaker’s Next Non-WWE Appearance Revealed

The Undertaker retired from in-ring competition in 2020 when he announced the news on the last episode of his documentary The Last Ride. The world was surprised as he had an incredible Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 just one month earlier.

‘The Phenom’ stayed firm on his decision and received his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame in April 2022. However, he isn’t done with WWE, as he has signed a contract with the company to just make appearances.

Fiterman Sports, which is the Official Autograph Company of WWE, shared a post on Twitter. The post was regarding the Megacon at Orlando where The Undertaker will appear. 

Besides The Undertaker, names like Ric Flair, Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and The Bella Twins will be present at Megacon. This will be The Deadman’s first appearance, representing WWE in a non-WWE event after the Hall of Ceremony earlier last month.

The Undertaker will be present on 21st May 2022, probably the day when fans will rush to the arena to see The Deadman. Fans who go on May 22 will also get to see Ric Flair.

Is Ric Flair signed with WWE?

The Megacon Orlando event will feature a few WWE superstars interacting with the fans. The superstars who will appear are under contract with WWE, either a legends contract or a superstars contract. Hence, the name of Ric Flair came as a surprise to everyone.

After WWE released Ric Flair in 2021, ‘Naitch’ hasn’t signed a WWE contract and has appeared at various promotions outside the company. This will be the second appearance of The Nature Boy, representing WWE in a non-WWE event without having a contract. The first similar appearance was in the WWE and Peacock series EVIL.
