It was confirmed on the October 2nd RAW show that The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes will team up with Jey Uso to face The Judgement Day for the Undisputed Tag-Team title. Rhodes, who last competed at WrestleMania 39 for a title, will be competing in his first title match in over six months.

However, even before his match could take place, spoilers for the match were disclosed by a close confidant of Cody Rhodes. This person might have disclosed WWE’s plans with Rhodes ahead of his match at Fastlane.

Cody Rhodes’ confidant reveals major spoilers ahead of Fastlane

Former AEW star and wife of WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes took to X to drop a hint at the result of a major match at Fastlane. She tweeted, “I think what I heard was…my husband and Jey Uso are about to become undisputed WWE tag team champs so I just wanted to go ahead and publicly invite Jey to Thanksgiving dinner if that’s so. It’s always a nice spread but family only, (except sometimes Ricky Starks).”

Brandi Rhodes was referring to the Tag-team match between The Judgement Day and Cody Rhodes-Jey Uso. As per her statement, the duo could win and become the Undisputed Tag-team Champion at Fastlane. Hence, she decided to invite Jey Uso for a Thanksgiving dinner on 23rd November. Is this a simple aspiration of Brandi’s or did she spoil WWE’s plans for her husband’s first title reign since his return last year.

The Judgement Day members won the Undisputed Tag-team title after defeating Sami Zayn and KO at Payback. But another rematch at RAW could not help the KO-Zayn pair to regain the title. Meanwhile, The Judgement Day members were busy trying to infuse “Main Event” Jey Uso into their heel stable, but he refused.

Mami was not happy with Uso’s response so she marched orders on him. This led to more chaos and Uso finally received support from the Zayn-KO pair and his former rival Cody Rhodes. After repeated altercations, Rhodes and Uso decided on October 2nd, to take matters into their hands and settle it at Fastlane.
