When we discuss success in the WWE, two names certainly hit our minds with their visionary impact. Yes, two of the icons are Dwayne Johnson and John Cena. Other than being great wrestlers, both are among the most successful actors in Hollywood.

Even though they have amassed substantial wealth and notoriety, they are both well-known for their charitable giving and efforts to aid the poor. The largest of which comes via the Make-a-Wish organization. Has Johnson surpassed John Cena’s global record for most wishes granted, though, given the latest turn of events? How is John Cena still ahead of Dwayne Johnson?

It was in 2022 that John Cena achieved the enormous feat of granting wishes. The Peacemaker star recorded his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for granting the highest number of wishes overall, which were 650. But recently, it was known that Dwayne Johnson also reached a milestone by granting the wishes of many.

However, he didn’t surpass Cena and achieved a unique record. He recently shared through his Instagram handle that he successfully granted the most number of wishes in a single day, but that was not an overall record. Cena still retains that record, and it has to be seen if somebody else can catch up to him.

But Johnson’s greatness in helping others can’t be snubbed easily. Moreover, the 51-year-old is well known for his humility.

Dwayne Johnson’s humility shines bright on numerous occasions

Renowned non-profit organization The Make a Wish Foundation provides vital assistance to kids with life-threatening illnesses. Dwayne Johnson endorsed the same foundation, and together they have been providing financial assistance to those in need. In addition, the Hollywood star gave $25,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts following Hurricane Harvey’s 2017 landfall in Texas.

He has also displayed unmatched support to the families and veterans of the armed forces. His involvement in the ‘Rock the Troop’ event undoubtedly contributed to the amusement of US military personnel.

Johnson has also assisted other families in raising funds for the medical expenses of their children. Additionally, he worked with My Fitness Pal to donate one million meals to Feeding America, a national network of food banks that helps the underprivileged have access to food.
