The 45-year-old is one of the most loved superstars of all time. However, recently, he found himself receiving some hate after making a controversial statement regarding a current superstar. Cena recently spoke to AP News and called Roman Reigns the ‘G.O.A.T’.

Soon after his comments, John Cena found himself in trouble. Wrestling fans online started turning on Cena and responded with not-so-kind comments for The Leader of Cenation.

Instead of bringing up other legends, Cena pushed Reigns as the ‘GOAT’, and it hurt the fan’s sentiments. While Cena is himself one of the greats, his compliment for Roman Reigns means a lot, and it actually elevates Reigns position as The Head of the Table.

While some fans straight denied the compliment and claimed that they are yet to see an amazing match from Reigns.

Some fans brought up names such as The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold, and many others that could have been considered as GOATS, alongside Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns would be facing The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39. Rhodes returned to WWE last year and is hungrier than ever. The Tribal Chief has a tough challenge laid out in front of him. A win there for Reigns could be another step towards solidifying Cena’s claim about him.
